About Luke Pigott
Luke Pigott is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor in private practice in Naperville, Illinois. He works with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families navigating anxiety, depression, substance use disorder, trauma, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and autism, along with the strained relationships that often accompany them. Pigott came to counseling after more than a decade in other fields, including three years running his own landscaping company, and he treats that route as an asset rather than a detour. His practice combines formal clinical training at National Louis University with hands-on experience in residential addiction treatment, autism services, and outpatient care, organized around a straightforward premise: clients make durable change when they are listened to without judgment and then held accountable for the change they say they want.
Luke Pigott’s path into mental health counseling was not a straight line, and the roles that preceded it shaped the therapist he became. Between 2010 and 2018, he worked as an assistant manager at Sonic Drive-In in Palatine, Illinois, directing teams of two to ten members and managing product inventory across daily, weekly, and monthly delivery cycles. From 2017 to 2019, he worked as a sales representative for Midwest Demo Marketing Company in Wauconda, Illinois, maintaining inventory levels across 20 to 30 stores in the greater Chicago area and interacting directly with prospective customers at in-store demonstration stations. A stint as a dock hand at Hercules Forwarding in Hickory Hills, Illinois, in 2017 added freight inspection, documentation, and heavy machinery operation to the list.
From 2018 to 2021, Pigott was president and owner of Fine Line Landscaping in Naperville, Illinois, where he handled advertising and sales while directing multiple crews across several towns for mulch services, lawn maintenance, and snow removal. Running the company meant planning and organizing daily work schedules for those teams and staying in direct contact with clients before, during, and after each job. He followed that with two years as a home inspector for EcoShield in Geneva, Illinois, from 2021 to 2023, inspecting attic spaces, crawl spaces, and the perimeters of homes and commercial buildings for pest activity, then diagramming and presenting corrective and preventative solutions to the people who lived and worked in them.
